Chester E. Gleit (1933-): Gleit graduated with his Ph.D. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1958. He was appointed Associate Professor of Chemistry in 1964. In 1981, Gleit was dismissed for his unorthodox works, including the rewriting of Einstein's Theory of Relativity.
There is a photocopy of an article on Chester Gleit from the Raleigh News and Observer dated 2-26-1981. Title of the article is "Teacher's tactics draw fire at NC State University".
