Phytotron (Raleigh, N.C.)
On the back of the photograph: "NCSU has a fine school of Horticulture." The Phytotron was built in 1968, the second in the United States. It provides controlled environments to grow plants from all over the world in one building. Zoologists and entomologists also use the facility to study animals and insects.
