Paul D. Emerson (1918-): Paul D. Emerson received his B.S.M.E. from Purdue University in 1940. He was appointed Associate Professor, Head, Machine Design and Development. His research was on noise control of textile machines. Dr. Franklin D. Hart received his B.S. in 1959, M.S. in 1961, and his Ph.D. in 1964 from NCSU. He was a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at NCSU for a number of years. He became Associate Dean of Engineering for Research, and later, Vice Chancellor for Research at North Carolina State University. In 1993 he returned to the Vice Chancellor for Research position. |
