Charles Addison Hickman (1916-): Charles Addison Hickman received his Ph.D. from the State University of Iowa in 1942. Hickman joined NC State in 1953 as Head of the Department of Economics. He left NCSU and his newly acquired title, Dean of the School of General Studies, in 1960 for a post at Southern Illinois University. |
