Claude Delbert Grinells (1892-1975): Professor of Dairy Husbandry and Veterinary Science, Grinnells was responsible for the Dairy Research herd from 1925-1958. He taught all the courses in Animal Diseases from 1932-1949 and was the only veterinarian at NCSU during most of his tenure there. He was North Carolina Veterinarian of the Year in 1956. He received his D.V.M. from Cornell University. |
