Elliot Brown Grover (1906-1997): Head of the Department of Fiber and Yarn Development from 1944-1959 and Head of the Department of Textile Technology when it formed after the merger of the Departments of Fiber and Yarn Development and Fabric Development from 1959-1966. He was A. C. Lineberger Professor of Yarn Manufacturing and an Honorary Fellow of the Textile Institute in Manchester, England. |
