Karl P. Hanson (1905-1967): Hanson received his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan. In 1947 he became both the Department Head and a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at NCSU. He was also appointed Director of the Freshman Engineering Division in 1963, where he served as a counselor to all Engineering freshman. |
