1948

Roy Bennett Clogston (1902-): Athletics Director from 1948-1969 and Director of Reynolds Coliseum 1956-1969.
Willis R. Casey (1920-1992): Willis Casey started his career at NCSU in 1946 as Business Manager and Assistant Athletics Director under Roy Clogston. Casey was also NCSU's head swimming coach from 1946 to 1969. During that time the Wolfpack swim team won 11 ACC titles. In 1969 he was named NCSU Athletics Director and served in that role until 1986. During his time as Athletic Director, Willis hired such winning coaches as Lou Holtz, Bob Guzzo, Jim Valvano and Kay Yow. He was inducted into the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame in 1985. In 1992, the Carmichael Gymnasium swimming complex was dedicated as the Willis R. Casey Aquatic Center.
