Roger G. Hitchings (1922-): Professor of Pulp and Paper Science beginning in 1954 and then Head of the Pulp and Paper Science and Technology Curriculum. He was an Outstanding Teacher at NCSU twice and won an Alumni Distinguished Professorship. Hitchings was named as a Fellow of the Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry in 1979 and Reuben B. Robertson Professor of Pulp and Paper Science and Technology in 1982. He received his M.F. from Duke. |
