R. J. McCracken (1921-): Professor for the Department of Soil Science starting in 1956, and Head of that Department from 1963-1970. Became Associate Director for Research in the School of Agriculture and Life Sciences in 1970 and Professor Emeritus of Soil Science upon his retirement. He received his Ph.D. from Iowa State University in 1956. |
