Henry B. Smith (1917-): Smith received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from N.C. State College in 1938. He received his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati in 1942. Smith was appointed Professor and Associate Dean of Engineering for Research and Graduate Programs at N.C. State University in 1965. Smith was named a Fellow in the American Institute of Chemists Society in 1969. |
