Description:	Mitcalf Poole Thayer Benjamin Franklin Brown (1881-1971): Dean of School of Science and Business and, when his title changed, Dean of the Basic Division of College from 1923-1948 and then Dean Emeritus until his death in 1971. Charles B. Nelson (1923-): Nelson earned his B.S. in Commerce and Accounting from UNC, Chapel Hill in 1950. He was an Accountant from 1966 to 1967 at NC State and in 1967 he was appointed Assistant Budget Director.
