Clarence Hamilton Poe (1881-1964): Clarence Hamilton Poe joined the staff of Progressive Farmer at a very young age. Later, as Editor of the journal, Poe acted as a crusader for both farming and education. He was also a member of the State Board of Agriculture and a Trustee for NC State.
