John Fletcher Miller (1890-1972): Miller was educated at Missouri State Teachers College and Springfield (Mass.) College. In 1924 Miller organized the newly created Physical Education and Athletic Department at North Carolina State. He served for 28 years as Head of the Physical Education Department and Director of Intermurals. For eight years he was Director of Athletics, for four years he was Professor of Physical Education, and for two years he served as President of the State Physical Education Association. |
